Privacy policy

This policy covers the website code-it.info and email you send to Code-it. The product ReleaseGuard has its own privacy policy at releaseguard.code-it.info/privacy.html.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no external fonts.

Hosting

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). When you open a page, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address in its server logs to deliver the page and keep the service secure. Code-it has no access to these logs. See the GitHub privacy statement.

Email enquiries and call bookings

If you write to Code-it or book a call, your name, email address, the content of your message and the booked time are used only to reply, hold the call and, where it follows, to prepare and perform a contract.

Calls are booked through a Google Calendar booking page, which opens on a Google website. Google processes the booking for Code-it, sends you the confirmation and calendar invitation, and may set its own cookies on that page; this website itself sets none.

• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within 2 years. Contract correspondence is kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Processors: email, calendar and call bookings are handled by Google (Google Workspace), calls take place in Google Meet.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
